From planning to postnatal support, our GPs are here to care for you throughout your pregnancy journey. We offer personalised, evidence-based care in a supportive and familiar setting to help you feel confident and well supported.

On the Sunshine Coast, there are three main models of pregnancy care:

• GP Shared Care
• Private Obstetric care
• Midwifery Care

At DOT, we offer GP Shared Maternity Care in partnership with Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).

This allows women who experience pregnancy without complications to choose to have most of their pregnancy care with their preferred GP.

You still attend SCUH for the initial booking appointment and again at 20, 36 and 41 weeks but the rest of your care can be managed at DOT.

We love the relationship we establish with you whilst pregnant so we can provide warm, personalised care when your baby arrives.
