Dr Corbett graduated in Medicine from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 1996, having previously completed an Honours degree in Physiology & Sports Science at Glasgow.
After working initially in Glasgow he moved to Queensland in 1998, working in the public health system until 2000. He returned to Scotland to complete his training in General Practice, before moving back out to Agnes Water in 2002. He spent over a year there developing a new General Practice before then moving to the Sunshine Coast to practice Emergency Medicine at Noosa Hospital for 4 years. Whilst there he enjoyed stints at the RFDS and in Banda Aceh post tsunami in January 2005.
In 2006 he returned to General Practice, working in Cooroy for 7 years and then he moved to Doctors of Tewantin in 2013. He has been performing a wide range of skin cancer medicine and surgery over the past 12 years, gaining his Diplomas in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery(2016) and Dermatoscopy(2015) through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He is looking forward to being back at Doctors of Tewantin (after a year at Sundoctors in Noosaville) and offering an expert skin cancer detection and treatment service, to both patients at Doctors of Tewantin and to any other members of the community looking for an affordable quality service. Ken will communicate back to each patient’s regular doctor regarding any interventions or procedures which have been undertaken.
